ABOUT CO-OWNER ADAM ZIEGLER
Adam Ziegler is the Co-owner of ScentWorks K9. He is a retired K9 Police Officer from New Jersey, and served for 25 years. During most of his career he was a K9 handler. He worked and trained two dual-purpose dogs, and recently trained his third partner, who is a single purpose explosive dog. Adam obtained his Supervisor Trainer Certification through the U.S.P.C.A. and has trained over 60 K9 teams throughout the New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware area.
He and his Police Dog partners have worked for 17 years locating criminals, finding illegal items and performing hundreds of explosive sweeps. They have been awarded numerous scent detection awards and take great pride in their involvement in the scent detection business.
When he and his business partner, Sam Rando, started ScentWorks, they made it their primary goal to help keep people safe. Their aim was never to take the place of Law Enforcement, but in an ever-changing world, they recognized a need for extra protection. As they see it, the most effective tool for keeping people safe and alert is a dog’s nose.
ScentWorks offers the services of certified, environmentally sound, fully-insured K9s. Our dogs and handlers participate in a scent detection course developed and overseen by Mr. Ziegler and Mr. Rando.
OUR CORE SERVICES
Our bomb dogs are trained to locate over 30 explosive odors, far more than our competitors, and many are cross trained to locate guns and ammo as well. This allows our Security K9 teams to detect and deter anyone wanting to do harm at your concert, festival, expo, school, church and more.
Addiction is a Health Emergency in the US and tackling it requires a multifaceted approach. Whether you're looking to ensure your facility is fostering a safe and secure environment or search your own home, our drug dogs can clear more area faster and more reliably than any human can.
Our highly trained dog teams are able to work through any environment and detect the presence of guns, gun oils, powders and ammunition. All events have places of entrance and exit, with our Dog Teams at those locations, they will be able to detect or deter anyone wanting to do harm.
